Teacher Excellence and Accountability for Mathematics and Science (TEAMS) Program
The Teacher Excellence and Accountability for Mathematics and Science (TEAMS) Act created an exciting new program in which Middle and High School Math and Science Teachers in Alabama have the opportunity to earn additional compensation.
In order to participate in the TEAMS program, a Math or Science teacher will have to meet eligibility requirements. While the detailed eligibility requirements are outlined below, in summary, a TEAMS teacher must possess (or agree to obtain) an advanced credential, work a 189 day year, and teach full time in an approved course.
While we have provided links to various pieces of information below, new information about the TEAMS program is still being released, so please check back often.
