Communications
We are leading in the Department of Communication through engaging with the community and keeping it informed.
We strive daily to provide open and honest communication to our many stakeholders, including students, parents, employees, alumni, taxpayers, businesses and community partners.
We use a variety of methods including mcpss.com, our 24-hour mcpssTV channel, social media, publications, electronic newsletters, interactions with the news media, recognitions and special events to reach those stakeholders.
We believe strongly in our district’s goal to be transparent and accountable to the public.
We work with members of the community to encourage involvement in our schools. And we work with our schools to help them get the word out that good things are happening in Mobile County Public Schools every day.
Connect with MCPSS via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram; visit our mcpssTV channel on YouTube; and watch mcpssTV.
The Office of Communication is led by Director of Communication Rena Philips and can be contacted at: 221-4003.
